Charles P. Schmitt and his wife Dotty both grew up with a Dutch Reformed heritage in Brooklyn, New York. Trained at Prairie Bible Institute in Alberta, Canada, and then at Bethany College of Missions in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Charles initially pastored in northern Minnesota. Now in the Washington, D.C., area, Charles is a pastor/teacher in Immanuel's Church in Silver Springs, Maryland, with over 2,000 in attendance. Charles and Dotty have three daughters. Both Charles and Dotty are international speakers and authors.
