Counseling

The principle function of this department is to assist the pastors in caring for the spiritual, emotional and physical needs of Immanuel's Church family. To provide a safe environment of healing for each individual. Our goal is to be a healing community. To see Jesus' promises to His church fulfilled in the midst of this community and beyond. That as a community we will find that everything we need for life and godliness is found in Him and His precious promises. That we would fulfill the Great Commission to "Go and make disciples," teaching them everything that our Messiah has taught us.

We will provide individual, marriage, and small group counseling for all Immanuel's Church members and those referred from the community, who need pastoral counseling. Referrals will be made to appropriate pastors, lay counselors, professional counselors, or physicians to meet every level of care required. Periodic training seminars will keep all levels of counselors informed on new approaches to counseling needs.

Celebrate Recovery

altThe purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to encourage fellowship and to celebrate God's healing power in our lives as we work our way along the road to recovery.
We are changed as we share our experiences, strengths, and hopes with one another.  In addition, we become willing to acept God's grace and forgiveness in solving our life's problems.

By working through the principles, we grow spiritually, and we are freed from our hurts, habits, and hang-ups. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with others, and our personal, loving, and forgiving Higher Power, Jesus Christ.
