Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery is a proven 25+ year old Christ-based 12-step program based on the Beatitudes. Contrary to what people think, this program is not only for people with alcohol and drug addictions. It is for people with hurts, habits and hang-ups they simply cannot overcome in their own strength.

Celebrate Recovery is for you if you have experienced:

  • thoughts or emotions (such as depression, fear, anxiety, anger, etc.) that result in actions or attitudes that affect your life negatively,
  • abuse (verbal, physical, sexual, religious) from which you have not received complete healing,
  • loss of a loved one through death, divorce or separation,
  • the inability to control your actions or reactions to other people or situations,

We have all experienced disappointment and pain, and developed coping mechanisms that, at the time, helped us to deal with the issue. However, we have continued using those coping mechanisms even though they no longer help us, and may actually harm us.

Simply put, we need a God-intervention; we need someone more powerful than ourselves to break our cycle and heal us from the inside out.

That Higher Power is Jesus Christ.

What to Expect

Celebrate Recovery starts with snacks and fellowship at 6:30 pm. Then we move to Large Group at 7:00 pm where we study the 12 steps to wholeness through alternating lessons and testimonials. At 8:00 pm, we break into small groups where we are free to share what we are going through and receive acceptance and love as we go through our healing. We then close the evening with more fellowship, so people can get to know each other a little better, and individual ministry can take place.

Study Sessions

We offer Men and Women Step Studies where the deepest healing occurs. These studies are designed to go into detail, asking us personal questions that allow us to learn the roots of why we act and feel as we do.

Join us for a Celebrate Recovery meeting to see what it is like.

We encourage you to try it three times, because each night is different, and it may take a little while for you to get used to the format and the people.

If our Celebrate Recovery program isn’t right for you, there are other local groups where you can learn and grow as well, and we will point you in their direction.

Celebrate Recovery offers a safe group dynamic where you can experience healing in a way you have been unable to attain by yourself.

  • We believe when we confess our sins to God, He forgives us.
  • When we confess our sins to one another, He HEALS us.
