Volunteers for the Gulf Coast Region

If you are interested in going to the Gulf Coast Region to serve in the Disaster Relief efforts being organized by Immanuel's Church, please note the following criteria.

Qualifications:

  • Must be in excellent health
  • Must work well with little or no direction
  • Must have 5-7 days available
  • Must be able to endure extreme situations (i.e. heat, long hours, etc.)
  • We strongly urge you have the proper shots (Tet., Hep A and B)
  • Living conditions will be as if on the mission field. Please be prepared to do whaterver needs to be done. Besides ministry to hurricane victims, physical labor is to be expected
  • We apologize up front for any inconvenience or discomfort you may experience
  • Please refrain from smoking, drinking of alcohol, any and all vices, etc.

Please come prepared with the following items:

  • Towels
  • Sheets
  • AIr matress (cots are provided)
  • Shower shoes
  • Pillow
  • Hygiene products
  • Sunscreen
  • Working gloves
  • Sturdy shoes
  • Hat
  • Bible
  • Bug Spray
