What is Being Done?
Food distribution: On September 3 rd, five days after the devastation of hurricane Katrina, the food distribution center at Victory Fellowship in Metairie, LA, opened. To date over 2,275,000 tons of non-perishable food, water and cleaning supplies have been distributed. (READ MORE)
KATRINA RELIEF FOR LOCAL FAMILIES

Immanuel’s Church has been working with the Columbia Shaw Collaborative of Washington D.C. to contact and support families affected by the Katrina hurricane and originally housed in the Stadium Armory. (READ MORE)
DISASTER RELIEF TASK FORCE SENDS WORK CREW
New Orleans, Sunday October 2, 2005
On October 2 nd a team of four men from Immanuel’s church went to Metarie, LA (just outside of New Orleans) to minister to the hurt and needy in the hurricane-ravaged area. Our host church, Victory Fellowship, had become a relief center for the New Orleans Community. (READ MORE)
MERCHANT ORGANIZES AID CONVOY TO HURRICANE KATRINA VICTMS
