41 BOXES OF CLOTHING
Wednesday, November 2, 2005
A total of 41 boxes travelled to southern Mississippi not long after Hurricane Katrina devastated the southern United States coast.
The contributions were collected and organized by Camp Sonshine from the families of Camp Sonshine and Immanuel's Church. We gathered clothing for every part of a family as well as toiletries, toys, bedding, etc. Immanuel's Church made it all possible to get all 41 boxes shipped. Here is an exerpt from the pastor who coordinated the distribution of these items...
"Thank you so very much for all the help you have given us. Only God knows what a blessing you've been. Everything 'ya'll' sent is much appreciated and needed. Thanks to you and people like you, our material needs have been met. However, we still very much need your prayers!! "
