Understanding the Problem from God's Point of View:
Heb. 1:8-10
, 2:10
; 2 Cor. 5:21
; Phil. 2:9-11
-Jesus Christ is totally
devoted to righteousness and perfection. He rules and reigns in
righteousness. His very nature and being is righteousness. He
stands as the ideal and perfect righteous man. As the ideal man,
His righteousness is able to cover all men who honestly trust
Him for righteousness. Christ is in us and He delegates His authority
and power to us and through us to establish His kingdom, peace
and joy on earth.
Hope:
Heb. 2:3
, Deut. 4:9
, 8:11
, Heb. 1:1-2
, Col. 1:16
-We are the
heirs of salvation, of Christ Himself. By His salvation, we became
acceptable to God and live eternally with God. We can now live
soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world, we can
now conquer trials and temptations, bondages and enslavements,
man can live triumphantly and abundantly in the world and live
eternally in perfection in the other world.
Heb. 2:10-13 -Jesus stands as the ideal and perfect man before God, and whatever Christ did would stand for man:
As Christ trusted God perfectly, He in us leads us to trust God more and more.
Change:
1 Pet. 3:18
; 2 Cor. 5:21
-We die because of sin, we are short
of morality, righteousness, justice, goodness but He Who is perfect
died for all men and if you believe that Jesus died for you, then
God identifies you with Jesus and considers you as being righteous,
already dead in Christ already resurrected to eternal life in
Christ. Accordingly, we are to pursue after love, mercy, justice
and compassion.
Heb. 3:6 ; Matt. 10:22 , Gal. 6:9 ; 1 Pet. 1:13 , Rev. 3:11 -We must strongly believe, believe to the point of utter confidence that the promise of heaven and eternal life is true, that our lifestyle is in accord with godly principles of thought, of speech and of action.
Heb. 3:12
, Acts 28:27
, Isa. 30:15
-Unbelief is believing that Christ
does not live within us. But since He does, He wants us to trust
Him for He will provide during any trial and suffering. Faith
and trust are means God uses and teaches men to trust Him more.
To believe God, the more we need, and the more we suffer, the
more we draw near to God, the more we will trust His fellowship,
to trust, to depend and walk with God. It is us proving our loyalty
to Him, and not getting God to prove His loyalty to us first before
we undergo any trial or suffering. We are the ones to be tried
and tested, not God. The failure to learn this is due to unbelief
and disobedience.
