Changed Life, Changed Attitudes

God's View:
Matt. 6:33-34 -Our eyes and thoughts are to be focused on God, not our circumstances. The Holy Spirit dwells within us to strengthen us to place our confidence in Jehovah-Jireh, God Who provides, protects and guides us in good as well as bad times. Our job is simply to obey His commandments, to think, speak and act in a manner that pleases and glorifies God.

Hope:
Exo. 23:24-25 ; 33:14 -To serve God is to do those things that honor His Son, that is, not to bow down to life's circumstances but to allow to work in and through me to face these circumstances and be victorious. For 'in Him' I am more than a conqueror, sickness, poverty, depressions are taken away from me.

2 Chron. 16:8-9 ; Ps. 86:11-12 -Commit yourself daily to live, to think, to act as God's word dictates. Praise Him regardless because He will see you through as you hang on. Hanging on is to glorify God.

Ps. 91:4 ; Isa. 41:10 -Simply see yourself under the protective shadow of God's wings. He will hold your hand and lead you step by step strengthening you in His Spirit each day as you grow into the image of His Son.

Change:
Rom. 8:16-17 ; l John 2:3-5 -The losses, the pains and sufferings of living in this world, we are to work thru them in and with Christ Who is the One Who will give you the victory in the situation. We are to mourn and grieve our losses and pains, but to go on and bless and glorify God by being a blessing to others and not being a curse by feeling sorry for myself.

1 John 5:1-9 -To be born-again of God is to be an overcomer of all that the world can do to me. Our faith is the source of our victory, faith that Christ destroyed the power of the enemy on the Cross. Our job is to maintain the victory that Jesus obtained on the Cross. The blood shed on the cross washed and cleansed us from the past, present and future sins, the Word of God applied daily keeps us whole currently, and the Holy Spirit within is the power that leads, guides us as long as we are on this earth.

1 Pet. 1:5 -Your trust and faith in God, in His character, that He will do all that His word says, this will keep you firm and steady.
