How do I do it?
(A)
Choose a Bible verse that you want to work on.
(B)
List the teaching that this verse speaks to your spirit at this moment. This is the area that God wants you to work on.
(C)
Be specific on how you have failed in this area of your life. Give a brief description of a recent event that God convicted you in your heart.
(D)
What is the biblical response to this situation according to God's Word? Try to just reverse your response that your described in the previous column if you are fuzzy about how to fill this column.
(E)
Specify the detail plan if you encounter the same situation in the future. God will bright up the same situation again and again if He intends you to be refined in this area for your good. It should be a step by step or point by point list of action. Pay attention to this area in the following week. Catch the opportunity to exercise what you write in this column.

Psalm
103
Bless the Lord whenever I think.  Been dwelling on problems, self-pity, hardly on God.  Whole of me is to thank, praise, dwell on the Lord, not on self.  Each time I think negative, I will use the thought as a springboard to remind me to thank and praise the Lord.

1 John
3:17
We do not demonstrate God's love in us if we are not willing to share our lives as well as material goods with others.  I became aware of a woman at church whose children needed new winter coats. Her husband is disabled and unable to work and can not afford to buy coats. I reasoned that my kids and I also needed new coats, and I can't be responsible for everyone.  In reality, only one of my children really needs a coat. The others only want new ones of a more current style. I need to buy the one needed coat for my child and use the rest of the money to buy coats for this family in need.
  1. Pray for God's guidance and strength in carrying out a plan to help this family.
  2. Call a family meeting. Explain the need to my family and my plans to help another family.
  3. Get my family's input.
  4. With my family, review verses on sharing.
  5. Contact the leaders in my church to alert them of the needs of the other family and tell of my plans of help.
  6. Call the woman in need. Explain to her how my sharing shows my love to the Lord and provides a blessing for her family as well as my own.
  7. Schedule a shopping trip so her family can pick out coats they like.
  8. Perhaps take their family to lunch as part of the shopping trip.
