Understanding the problem from God's point of view:
Heb. 4:16
; James 1:5-8
; Phil. 4:13
-To appropriate God's gracious
wisdom in facing and dealing with your problems, you must ask
in faith, living according to God's word, and depend on His power.
Hope:
Rom. 8:35-39
; l Cor. 10:13
-God will not allow believers to
be tested or tempted beyond what they can bear. He gives you His
grace and strength to endure every test and resist any temptations
so that you never have to sin.
Heb. 2:18 , 4:15-16 , 7:25 ; 1 Jn. 2:1 -Our Lord Jesus Christ will grant mercy and provide grace to help in every need. He constantly intercedes as an advocate for you to God the Father and fully understands your weakness.
Rom. 5:3-5 ; James 1:2-4 ; Jere. 29:11 -Trials and testing will develop and mature you in Christ if you respond to them God's way. He never devises evil or harm for you, rather His plans for you are for good.
John 14:27 ; Matt. 5:3-12 -God's peace and joy are available to believers regardless of others, possessions or circumstances.
Change:
1Jn. 2:3-6
; Jn. 16:33
, 15:10-11-You need to obey God's word
consistently to grow increasingly into godliness and to realize
true peace and joy.
James 1:21-25 ; 2 Pet. 1:2-4 -Effective and lasting biblical change is a continuing process. You are to obey the commands and guidelines in God's word for every area of your life(your thoughts, speech, actions).
Eph. 4:22-24
; Rom. 6:11-14
, 16-23
-As you put-off the old continuing
pattern of sin and begin (put-on) the new practice of righteousness
and holiness, you are renewed in the spirit of your mind.
